By the end of 2023, Italy had a total installed renewable energy capacity of 30 GW, which includes an additional 5 GW added in 2023 - double the capacity added in 2022.

With a population of 19 million, Torino is one of the strongest economic regions in Italy. This growth makes Italy the third in Europe for the number of solar panels added in 2023.

Looking ahead, the government aims to increase the installed capacity to 79 GW by 2030, representing nearly a threefold increase. This indicates significant potential for the solar industry in Northwest Italy.
